This privacy policy describes how we collect, use, store and protect your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Bulgarian legislation. By using the FIX platform, you agree to the terms described in this policy.
2. What data we collect
Data provided by you: - First and last name - Email address - Phone number - Service address - Photos of the problem (when submitting a request) - Description of the desired service Automatically collected data: - Location (to find nearby professionals) - Device type and operating system - IP address - App usage data
3. How we use your data
- Connecting you with suitable professionals for your request - Communication regarding requests, offers and service status - Improving the platform and user experience - Usage analysis to optimize services - Prevention of abuse and fraud - Sending notifications for new offers and updates
4. Data sharing and third-party processors
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the professionals you connect with, and with service providers who process it on our behalf to operate the platform. Professionals receive your name, service address, and request description so they can deliver the service. Our processors: - Hetzner Online (Germany) — hosting infrastructure - Stripe (Ireland / United States) — payments, payouts, identity verification - Brevo (France) — transactional emails such as login codes, receipts, and notifications - Google Analytics 4 (Ireland / United States) — anonymous usage analytics, loaded only after you accept analytics cookies - Firebase Cloud Messaging (Ireland / United States) — push notifications and mobile analytics - Sentry (United States) — application error monitoring - Microsoft Clarity (United States) — anonymous session analytics for product improvement, loaded only after you accept analytics cookies - Apple and Google — app distribution and store-managed identifiers when you sign in with their accounts Where a processor is located in the United States, the transfer relies on Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework as appropriate. We disclose data to authorities only when legally required by court order or competent authority.
5. Data storage and protection
We store your data on secure servers within the European Union. We implement technical and organizational security measures, including encryption in transit (SSL/TLS) and access controls. We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or until you request its deletion.
6. Cookies and analytics consent
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies for login, security, and payments — these load in any case because the platform cannot function without them. Optional cookies for product analytics (Google Analytics) and anonymous session recording (Microsoft Clarity) load only after you accept them in our cookie banner.
